Support

Last updated: July 25, 2026

Something not working, or an idea for making Alarm24 better? Email support@alarm24.app and a person will read it.

To help us help you, please include your iPhone model, your iOS version, the app version from Settings, About, and what you expected to happen.

My alarm didn't ring

Start with the app's own Reliability history, under Settings. It records every alarm scheduled, fired, missed and stopped, and usually shows exactly what happened. Then check, in order:

  • Notification permission. Settings, Alarm24, Notifications must be allowed. Alarm24 shows a warning banner on the alarm list when it isn't.
  • Which mode you're in. On iOS 15 to 25, Compatibility Mode relies on notifications, which the system can suppress. On iOS 26 and later, check that Alarm permission is granted.
  • Focus and Do Not Disturb. A Focus that filters notifications can suppress Compatibility Mode alarms.
  • Ringer volume. Alarm volume follows the device ringer level.
  • Was the alarm actually enabled, and was the day included in its repeat pattern?
  • Was the device switched off or out of battery at the alarm time?

A mission won't accept my answer

  • Typing missions reject pasted text by design, and may be case- and punctuation-sensitive depending on your configuration.
  • Photo missions reject images that are too dark or too blurry, and compare against the reference you saved. If the room's lighting has changed a lot, save a new reference.
  • QR missions compare against a hash of the code you saved. A different code, even a similar one, will not match.
  • Motion missions need Motion & fitness permission. Without it, Alarm24 substitutes a cognitive mission instead.

I can't complete a mission right now

Hold the emergency control at the bottom of the mission screen for ten seconds. It opens three hard maths questions instead of the mission you configured. It does not silence the alarm, and the event appears in your reliability history.

Deleting your data

All app data lives on your device. Deleting an alarm removes it immediately; deleting the app removes everything. We hold no copy of anything, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side and no account to close.

Bugs and feature requests

Send them to support@alarm24.app. Reproduction steps are worth their weight in gold, especially for anything involving an alarm that behaved unexpectedly, where the reliability history entry is the single most useful thing you can include.

We aim to reply within two business days.
